It was in January 2000 that the CapDecK project supported by SDC was launched. It was a memorable journey for many of us through the last ten years. Now, it is time to come to a closure of the Programme. CapDecK Programme comes to a meaningful conclusion on 31.12.09.

It would not have been a meaningful closure with out a lot of Programme partners, supporters and well wishers at all levels to guide us through our journey in developing new and innovative ideas and making every step enjoyable over the last one decade. Thanks to all for the guidance, support and encouragement over the last one decade to take forward the CapDecK Programme.

Thanks to all at the People's Plan Campaign Cell, State and National Governments, Local Governments and their associations, KILA, various partner organisations and institutions and the CapDecK PCU for having given their best to the Programme. Thanks are also due to all our colleagues, past and present, in SDC, New Delhi and Bern without their support and cooperation most of our endeavours would not have been possible.
